Connecting community needs and resources to serve the residents of Chandler
I-HELP provides over 6,700 emergency shelter nights to homeless adults and a case management program successfully supporting nearly 50% of clients to employment and over 30% to housing. I-HELP assists homeless in acquiring job placement, emergency shelter and a place to call home. The program also offers case management services to connect homeless individuals to resources needed to regain stability and break the cycle of homelessness. I-HELP provides a safe place to sleep and a hot meal for homeless adults every night of the week. The mobile shower unit, the “Chandler Clean Machine,” provides guests with ready access to a warm shower.
Hundreds of volunteers contribute more than 14,000 volunteer hours a year to the program.
Assistance is needed from faith organizations looking to cover a night of shelter, community groups who can provide meals and drivers who can bring the individuals from check-in to the church site during the week.
