For Our City Chandler is in the process of planning for how we can help in emergency situations, such as the one that happened in the summer of 2017, when an apartment complex lost AC for over a week and multiple families were displaced.
FOC - Chandler will help mold a plan for food, resources, transportation, etc during extreme heat emergency situations in Chandler.

Chandler nonprofit organizations that conduct food & gift drives during the holiday season began collaborating on their individual drives in order to fully utilize resources, reduce duplication efforts and expand the reach of those we all could help.
Hundreds of residents gather together on National Make a Difference day, we call it For Our City Day, to assist with neighborhood projects in the community.
City of Chandler and For Our City present the annual Chandler Volunteer Recognition Awards in honor of the tremendous impact and contributions volunteers bring to our community.
FOC -Chandler is proud to present the biggest back-to-school collaborative donation drive for Chandler students in need. Chandler K-12 students can receive backpacks (filled with school supplies), shoes, uniforms, socks and underwear (as they last) in addition to information on free after school programs, giveaways and prizes!

Initiated in 2010, the Let's Pull Together campaign asks residents for assistance in locating properties with overgrown weeds and acquiring authorization to perform yard maintenance. Groups of volunteers are then organized to remove the weeds.
I-HELP is a program based upon faith organizations opening their facilities one night a week/or month to provide a safe place to sleep for homeless individuals. Local non-profit, AZCEND oversees the I-HELP program that offers dinner, a shower, a comfortable night’s sleep and breakfast for each client, 7 days a week.
A Human Services Needs Assessment for Chandler was last completed in 2007. An updated assessment will be conducted to examine current human services needs of Chandler’s low and moderate income, elderly, youth, homeless, and other populations.
